Child Care Lounge has built a meaningful learning community, and we’re grateful to the educators who have been part of it.
By bringing professional development into brightwheel, we’re building on that foundation — supporting more programs and connecting learning with the tools educators use every day.
What this means for you
Professional development will continue through brightwheel, and courses will no longer be offered through the Child Care Lounge platform.
If you’ve already purchased courses, you will still have time to complete them. You will receive an email confirming your specific completion deadline. For most customers, this deadline will be April 30.
Going forward
Courses will be offered through brightwheel as an annual program-level subscription. This allows programs to complete and track hours all in one place without managing multiple logins, websites, or spreadsheets.
To access professional development through brightwheel, your program will need:

FAQ's
Child Care Lounge became part of brightwheel last year. Over time, we’ve brought professional development into the brightwheel platform so courses, certificates, and records can live in one place. As part of that transition, the standalone Child Care Lounge platform will no longer be offering courses.
If you’ve already purchased courses, you will receive an email with your specific completion deadline. For most customers, this deadline is April 30. Please complete your coursework before that date. After your deadline, access to the Child Care Lounge platform will no longer be available. If you are unsure of your deadline, you may contact us at customerservice@childcarelounge.com.
Unfortunately, course completion deadlines cannot be extended.
We encourage you to log in and complete your coursework as soon as possible before your assigned deadline.
Yes. Any certificates you earn before your completion deadline will remain valid. We recommend downloading copies of your certificates prior to your completion deadline and retaining them for your records.
